The Lincombe Manor Macmillan Coffee Morning on September 24th was one of many supporting the Macmillan Charity, joining thousands of people across the UK in raising money to make sure no one has to face cancer alone. But not all of them came with Mystery at the Manor for guests to solve.

Lincombe Manor Retirement Village’s 2015 coffee morning was one to remember as the Moonstone Theatre brought their own touch of drama to proceedings. A special Macmillan cake, from new chef Colin Pearson, was washed down with refreshments while the ‘Allo ‘Allo cast of René François Artois, the ‘definitely not English’ French policeman Captain Crabtree and Herr Flick of the Gestapo provided clues to the morning’s brain teaser.

The more they had to think, the more coffee and cake was enjoyed by guests in what was a very entertaining event to raise funds for Macmillan to support those in need.
