FREE ENTRY – Hosted by Michael Bowman

Auctioneer Michael Bowman takes guests through the various items they have bought along for valuation at the Finance & legal event in Lincombe Manor.

Join us at Lincombe Manor for our popular valuations day with our host Michael Bowman, who offers a fantastic opportunity to find out more about your personal treasures.

Michael is happy to value most things, especially silver, jewellery, ceramics, paintings and collectables. There is always something new to learn about forgotten items sitting in drawers and cupboards; be they antiques of the future, treasured heirlooms or the family silver so please, do come and join the fun.

Michael Bowman not only has an expert eye for valuables he is also very entertaining; his funny and interesting tales accumulated during his 29 years of operation from Chudleigh Town Hall where he holds regular auctions for antiques, ceramics, fine art, jewellery, militaria and collectors’ items will you mean you not only enjoy this experience but hopefully will learn something too.

Michael originates from Northumberland and left school aged 18 to join a Whitley Bay firm of auctioneers, J. C. Featonby. Four years of training and a professional examination culminated in admission to the old Incorporated Society of Valuers and Auctioneers (ISVA). On moving to Devon in 1986 he established his auctions in Chudleigh and continues to hold selective sales containing specialist categories, which include: Pictures, Books, Ephemera, Glass and ceramics, Metalware, Treen, Medals and Militaria, Clocks and watches, Silver and Jewellery.

The schedule will incorporate lunch (at a cost):
